IltmmTVTuner::get_AvailableModes

Summary

Gets the modes supported by the installed tuner.

Syntax

Parameters

IltmmTVTuner *pTV

Pointer to an IltmmTVTuner interface.

long *pVal

Pointer to a variable to be updated with the supported modes, combined. Possible values are:

Value	Meaning
ltmmTUNER_MODE_DEFAULT	Default tuner mode.
ltmmTUNER_MODE_TV	TV tuner mode.
ltmmTUNER_MODE_FM_RADIO	FM radio tuner mode.
ltmmTUNER_MODE_AM_RADIO	AM radio tuner mode.
ltmmTUNER_MODE_DSS	Digital Satellite Service (DSS) tuner mode.
0x0010	Digital TV tuner mode.

Returns

Value	Meaning
S_OK	The function was successful.
<> S_OK	An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

The retrieved value is a combination of all tuner modes supported. The individual values are logically OR-ed to create the combination.

To get the current mode for a multifunctional tuner, use IltmmTVTuner::get_Mode.

To set the current mode for a multifunctional tuner, use IltmmTVTuner::put_Mode.
