This function sets the target type: file, object, variant array, etc.

Pointer to an IltmmCapture Interface.
Long value that contains the receive target type. It can be one of the ltmmCapture_Target constants enumeration values.
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
| S_OK | The function was successful. |
| <> S_OK | An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation. |
This function allows the user to set the target type to one of the following:
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ltmmCapture_Target_File | The target is a file set with IltmmCapture::put_TargetFile. |
| ltmmCapture_Target_Array | The target is a SAFEARRAY variant set with IltmmCapture::put_TargetArray. |
| ltmmCapture_Target_Object | The target is a COM object set with IltmmCapture::put_TargetObject. |
| ltmmCapture_Target_Device | The target is a target device set through IltmmTargetDevices::put_Selection. |
| ltmmCapture_Target_Stream | The target is a stream set with IltmmCapture::put_TargetStream. |
This is an internal method called by methods like IltmmCapture::put_TargetFile.
