IltmmTargetFormat::put_AVMux

Assigns the specialized audio/video multiplexer's name.

Parameters

IltmmTargetFormat *pTargetFormat

Pointer to an IltmmTargetFormat interface.

BSTR newVal

String value containing the audio/video multiplexer's name.

Returns

Value Meaning
S_OK The function was successful.
<> S_OK An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

This function assigns a specialized audio/video multiplexer. When the format is selected, audio and video streams will be routed to this filter before being passed to the normal multiplexer (Mux). If this value is not defined (empty string), then the audio and video streams will be connected directly to the Mux.

Attempting to set this value on a ReadOnly item will result in an error.
