IltmmConvert::LoadSettingsFromFile

Summary

Loads settings from a file. This reconstructs the conversion configuration based on the settings that have been saved to the file.

C HRESULT IltmmConvert_LoadSettingsFromFile(pConvert, sourcefile, flags)
C++ HRESULT LoadSettingsFromFile(sourcefile, flags)

Parameters

IltmmConvert *pConvert

Pointer to an IltmmConvert interface.

BSTR sourcefile

Character string that contains the name of the file that contains the settings to load.

long flags

Flags that indicate the loading options. For a list of possible values, refer to ltmmConvert_Settings constants.

Returns

Value Meaning
S_OK The function was successful.
<> S_OK An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

Settings saved to a stream can be loaded using IltmmConvert::LoadSettingsFromStream.

The convert object's settings can be saved to a file by calling IltmmConvert::SaveSettingsToFile. The convert object's settings can be saved to a stream by calling IltmmConvert::SaveSettingsToStream.
