The Capture Sub Type Object is accessed through the parent object's IltmmCaptureSubTypes interface using the IltmmCaptureSubtypes::Item function. The IltmmCaptureSubType Interface lets the user set and get information about an ltmmCaptureSubType object.
In addition to the methods inherited from IDispatch, the IltmmCaptureSubType Interface exposes the following functions:

IltmmCaptureSubType::get_Selected
IltmmCaptureSubType::put_Selected
