The RasterCodecs class supports asynchronous operations for getting information, loading and saving images through the RasterCodecs.GetInformationAsync, RasterCodecs.LoadAsync and RasterCodecs.SaveAsync methods. These methods will not block the calling thread and perform their work in the background. When the operation is completed, the RasterCodecs.GetInformationAsyncCompleted, RasterCodecs.LoadAsyncCompleted or RasterCodecs.SaveAsyncCompleted events will fire with the operation status and result.
Both of these events use as data arguments the objects of classes derived from CodecsAsyncCompletedEventArgs. For more information, refer to CodecsGetInformationAsyncCompletedEventArgs, CodecsLoadAsyncCompletedEventArgs and CodecsSaveAsyncCompletedEventArgs.
The CodecsAsyncCompletedEventArgs class derives from the .NET System.ComponentModel.AsyncCompletedEventArgs class and uses these class properties to provide information about the status of the asynchronous operation.
