IltmfTargetFormats::put_VideoEncodeQuality

Summary

Sets a value specifying the trade off between encoding quality and encoding speed.

Parameters

IltmfTargetFormats *pTargetFormats

Pointer to an IltmfTargetFormats interface.

long newVal

long value that specifies the trade-off between encoding quality and encoding speed.

Returns

Value Meaning
S_OK The function was successful.
<> S_OK An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the MediaFoundation documentation.

Comments

This value can range from 0 through 100. A value of 0 indicates lower quality but faster encoding. A value of 100 indicates higher quality but slower encoding.
