IltmfTargetFormat::get_Available

Summary

Queries whether the target format is currently available.

Parameters

IltmfTargetFormat *pTargetFormat

Pointer to an IltmfTargetFormat interface.

VARIANT_BOOL *pVal

Pointer to a variable that indicates whether the target format is currently available. Possible values are:

Value Meaning
VARIANT_TRUE The target format is currently available.
VARIANT_FALSE The target format is not currently available.

Returns

Value Meaning
S_OK The function was successful.
<> S_OK An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the MediaFoundation documentation.

Comments

Target format availability depends on the media sinks and multiplexers that are registered in your system. Microsoft Media Foundation components vary with the operating system version. Use this property to determine if the required components are installed.
