IltmfTargetFormat::get_Streams

Summary

Retrieves a value that indicates which streams the target format has.

Syntax

Language Syntax
C HRESULT IltmfTargetFormat_get_Streams(Format, pVal)
C++ HRESULT get_Streams(pVal)

Parameters

IltmfTargetFormat *Format

Pointer to an IltmfTargetFormat interface.

LONG *pVal

Pointer to a variable to be updated with a value that indicates which streams the target format has. For a list of possible values, refer to ltmfTargetFormat_Stream constants. Individual values can be logically OR-ed.

Returns

Value Meaning
S_OK The function was successful.
<> S_OK An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the MediaFoundation documentation.

Comments

Target format

The format to be used for the converted file. This includes the file format, any special settings used by that format, and which audio and/or video codec is to be used for the conversion, and any special settings used by the codecs.

Codec

A COmpressor combined with a DECompressor, or encoder and a decoder, which allows you to both compress and decompress that same data.
