DICOM Waveform SDK Technology

LEADTOOLS Medical Imaging SDKs include full support for adding DICOM Waveform functionality into .NET (C# & VB), C/C++, iOS, macOS, Linux, Java, and web applications. The DICOM standard describes waveform storage and communication, including hemodynamic curve data, cardiac electrophysiology, electrocardiography (ECG), and audio signals (WAV files). LEADTOOLS Waveform SDK Technology can use the waveform audio data to build a graph visualizing the audio waves and can also play back audio dictations within DICOM data sets.

LEADTOOLS DICOM waveform technology support is comprehensive and handles the various features described by the DICOM standard, including:

  • Management of Waveform Group attributes
  • Channel manipulation (setting/getting channel samples, source, sensitivity, and other attributes)
  • Audio support (with the ability to create Basic Voice Audio files for report dictation)
  • Waveform annotations

In addition, LEADTOOLS supports all of the waveform related IODs defined in DICOM, including:

  • Basic Voice Audio
  • 12-Lead Electrocardiogram
  • General Electrocardiogram
  • Ambulatory Electrocardiogram
  • Hemodynamic

Demo Applications that Include DICOM Waveform

WinForms DICOM

Demonstrates some of the LEADTOOLS DICOM data set technology available in LEADTOOLS Medical and PACS Imaging SDKs. It views all DICOM tags and embedded images, and shows loading, editing, and saving DICOM data set files.

WinForms DICOM Editor

Demonstrates LEADTOOLS DICOM data set technology available in LEADTOOLS Medical and PACS Imaging SDKs. It utilizes the LEADTOOLS high-level DicomEditableObject class to easily read and edit all DICOM tags and embedded images.
