LEAD Video Dynamic Rate Control Filter User Interface

The Dynamic Rate Control Filter changes the relative playback rate of the video stream. This filter is similar to the LEAD Video Frame Rate Controller Filter, but determines the playback rate by manipulating the downstream sample times. The property page is shown in the following figure:

The Dynamic Rate Control Filter property page provides a user interface for changing the filter's attributes. Changes will be applied directly to the streaming media with the ability to set them permanently by clicking Apply or OK, or abandoning changes by clicking Cancel. Positioning the mouse pointer over a control displays general information for that control.

In addition to the ability to enable/disable the dynamic playback rate control feature, the property page provides a edit box in which you may manually enter the desired playback rate. The following table shows the controls and their descriptions:

Control	Description
Enable check box	Enables/Disables the filter. If disabled, the filter passes the video stream as is, without changing the playback rate.
Dynamic rate slider control	Allows a playback rate from .01x to 10x to be selected by dragging the slider control to the desired playback rate setting.
Dynamic rate edit box control	This edit box will be enabled only if the Enable check box is selected. Possible values range from 0.01 to 10.0.
