The LEAD MPEG Audio Converter is a helper filter that is used automatically to convert audio subtype from MEDIASUBTYPE_MPEG2_AUDIO to MEDIASUBTYPE_MPEG1AudioPayload to help play the audio in MPEG2 files created with "LEAD MPEG Audio Encoder" in case a DVD audio decoder is not installed. So basically this filter converts the MPEG2 audio type to MPEG1.
