Finds an audio input item by name.

Parameter

Description

pInputs

Pointer to an IltmmAudioInputs interface.

Name

A string identifying the item to find.

Index

Pointer to a variable to be updated with the index of the specified item.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

The retrieved index can be used to obtain the item itself using IltmmAudioInputs::Item.
