Network and Systems Manager

LEAD Technologies is seeking to fill a position to manage, maintain, integrate, and implement LEAD's network and systems. Applicants should be self-motivated and always wanting to learn modern technologies and looking for ways to improve existing systems.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Being an active member of LEAD's management team by engaging with our various managers, their departments, and Senior Executives to optimize our systems so that LEAD can operate as an effective and efficient organization.
  • Solving known issues by providing a permanent fix rather than a band-aid solution. Being proactive on unknown issues by interfacing with the various department heads and other LEAD employees to learn what is going on and how your IT department can help them do their job.
  • Learning LEAD's current systems and making suggestions for improving or even replacing what we are using today.
  • Staying up to date on the various technologies, products, and solutions that are available in the market and that could be of benefit to LEAD.
  • Manage and maintain the following:
    • SSIS package maintenance and development to integrate silos of data. Strong knowledge of SQL and C# is a requirement.
    • Networking: Cisco ASA, Fortigate, Dell managed switches, Unifi WIFI
    • Windows Server 2012 and up
    • Windows networking services (i.e., AD, DNS, DHCP, etc)
    • Microsoft DPM
    • Microsoft Hyper-V
    • Microsoft SQL Servers (High availability clustered)
    • Microsoft Exchange Server (on-premise)
    • Microsoft SharePoint
    • Microsoft Report Server
    • Barracuda Spam Firewall
    • Microsoft Azure
    • AD administration, including one- and two-way trusts between four domains
    • Windows network load balanced web and FTP sites hosted by IIS on Windows 2012R2 Servers and up
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM (on-premise)
    • Provide solutions/identify and recommend product customizations and enhancements to meet the company's requirements using existing Dynamics CRM Solution.
    • Serve as a subject-matter expert (SME) for Dynamics CRM to enable software development best practices, data migration and conversion, data integrity, system integrations, and system performance and tuning.
    • Follow best practices with guidance from the business team to integrate and improve methodologies and user experience.
    • Fulfills data and reporting requests on demand by connecting to multiple databases and writing complex SQL queries, SSRS, SSIS, SQL Development, Optimization, Debugging, and Security using Dynamics
    • Development experience within Dynamics CRM system, specifically with .NET (C#, ASP.NET, etc.), JavaScript
    • Microsoft CRM Certification is preferred.

Software Developer

LEAD Technologies is seeking to fill a software developer position to participate in development of our LEADTOOLS SDK product lines. Software engineers work closely with other engineers, as well as the developer support, QA, and documentation teams, to produce software solutions for commercial production.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Participate with other developers in preparing designs for software projects
  • Develop/implement software projects
  • Write documentation and test samples and example programs for SDK functionality
  • The ability to understand complex problems is required. The applicant must also be very motivated and be willing to constantly learn new technologies. Initial training and orientation will be provided. Strong self-motivation and independent execution is expected.

Job Requirements

The successful applicant will have a computer science/engineering degree or have the equivalent relevant experience. C/C++ and Visual Studio .NET (C# and/or VB.NET) experience for Microsoft Windows-based operating systems is preferred. Prior experience programming with SDKs, HTML5, JavaScript, Android, iOS, Linux, and/or digital imaging is a plus.

Developer Support Engineer

LEAD Technologies is seeking to fill a developer support position to work directly with customers using LEADTOOLS SDKs by providing technical support and addressing pre-sales technical issues. This is a great position for entry-level software developers looking to gain practical experience.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support to customers via phone, chat, and email
  • Duplicate and report bugs found in the SDKs to the engineering department
  • Write sample code for customers to provide a proof of concept based on the customers' objective
  • Write demo applications. These applications may be tasks assigned by the engineering department or demos that customers will be able to use to help them better understand how to achieve a specific objective with our SDKs.
  • The ability to multi-task and understand complex problems is required. The applicant must also be very motivated, have excellent people skills, be comfortable assisting customers over the phone, and be willing to constantly learn new technologies. Initial training and orientation will be provided. Strong self-motivation and independent execution is expected.
