SANE SDK Libraries

Java developers can use the LEADTOOLS SANE frontend API to acquire images from scanners, digital cameras, and capture cards that have a Linux SANE backend. After acquisition, the images can be used for OCR, barcode, forms recognition, image processing, and more.

Feature-rich SANE SDK

Comprehensive SANE Libraries

LEADTOOLS libraries include a comprehensive SANE front-end API to communicate with 32- and 64-bit SANE backend drivers. With this library you can get and set all SANE capabilities supported by the backend. This facilitates the creation of a custom user-interface to normalize the user experience when using different SANE devices. In addition to the interface, the library supports scanning in bitonal, halftone, grayscale, palettized, and full-color simplex and duplex scanning from a flatbed or ADF.
