Last year Version 18 opened up new opportunities for developers with interfaces for WinRT, Windows Phone, HTML5/JavaScript and more, along with new features and enhancements to its Document, Medical and Multimedia imaging product families.
Several updates and enhancements have been pushed since the initial release. Core Document Imaging technologies including OCR, Forms Recognition, and PDF engines are faster and more accurate than ever before. Within the Medical Imaging engine, new image processing routines, international character set localization, HTML5 annotations and simplified local database customization were added to the SDK. The LEADTOOLS Multimedia SDKs benefited from new processing filters and transforms along with enhanced RTSP support.
