IltmmConvert *pConvert;

pointer to an interface

IltmmTargetFormats **pVal;

pointer to a pointer

Retrieves the target format collection object.

Parameter

Description

pConvert

Pointer to an IltmmConvert interface.

pVal

Pointer to a variable that receives the target format collection interface pointer.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

<> S_OK

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

The returned IltmmTargetFormats interface is used to enumerate the available output formats, and to select the format to use for conversion. See IltmmTargetFormats for details.

If the method succeeds, the caller must free the returned interface pointer by calling the interface's Release method.
