IltmmCapture::get_Volume

IltmmCapture *pCapture;	pointer to an interface
long *pVolume;	pointer to a variable

Retrieves the volume level of the audio stream of the preview output .

Parameter	Description
pCapture	Pointer to an IltmmCapture interface.
pVolume	Pointer to a variable to be updated with the volume level of the audio stream. Possible values range from -10000 to 0. Divide the value by 100 to get the equivalent decibel value.

S_OK	The function was successful.
<> S_OK	An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

Full volume is 0, and -10000 is silence. The scale is logarithmic.

This property gets only the volume level that is applied to the preview output.
