pointer to a variable

Specifies whether the video frame window is automatically resized to match the dimensions of the media.

Parameter

Description

pPlay

Pointer to an IltmmPlay interface.

newVal

Value that is VARIANT_TRUE to enable automatic frame sizing, or VARIANT_FALSE to disable automatic frame sizing.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

If enabled, the video frame window will be resized when a new source assigned to the object, or when a processing filter changes the actual media size. The default value is VARIANT_FALSE.
