playback rate

VARIANT_BOOL *pResult;

pointer to a variable

Determines whether a specific playback rate is supported or not.

Parameter Description
pPlay Pointer to an IltmmPlay interface.
Rate The playback rate for which to check.
pResult Pointer to a variable to be updated with a value that indicates whether the specified playback rate is supported. Possible values are:
  Value Description
  TRUE The rate is supported.
  FALSE The rate is not supported.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

The playback rate is expressed as a ratio of the normal playback speed. For example, use 1.0 for normal speed, 2.0 for double speed, and 0.5 for half speed.
