Retrieves the video bit count.

Parameter

Description

pVideoFormat

Pointer to an IltmfVideoFormat Interface.

pVal

Pointer to a variable that receives the video bit count.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the MediaFoundation documentation.

Comments

Call IltmfVideoFormat::get_Height and IltmfVideoFormat::get_Width to get the height and width of the video format.

To get the video compression for the video format, call IltmfVideoFormat::get_Compression.
