Gets a string value representing the channel information for the type and index specified.

Parameters

Parameter	Description
pTV	Pointer to an IltmfTVTuner interface.
Type	The channel type. Represents major channel or subchannel.
Index	The channel index.
pVal	Pointer to a variable to be updated with the channel information.

Returns

Value	Description
S_OK	The function was successful.
<> S_OK	An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.
