Retrieves a value that indicates the audio bits per sample value of the target format.

Parameter

Format

Pointer to an IltmfTargetFormat interface.

pVal

Pointer to a variable to be updated with a value that indicates the audio bits per sample value of the target format.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the MediaFoundation documentation.

Comments

To set the audio bits per sample value on the target format, call IltmfTargetFormat::put_AudioBitsPerSample.
