LEAD Gives Back: Local School Tours and Guest Speaking Engagements

Previously in our “LEAD Gives Back” blog series, we shared details about our Summer 2023 Internship Program where we hosted nine interns from local high school and colleges across Charlotte and surrounding areas. A few of those interns were also part of two larger community events we took on! Most recently, LEAD partnered with local Providence Day School as we hosted a student tour and presentation as well as took part in a special guest speaking opportunity where we shared our experience in entrepreneurship, software development, business, and more.

About the Awards

Visual Studio Magazine hosts an annual survey to their readers where they choose between 400+ .NET-related tools, components and services across 43 categories. The Top 3 winners of each category then gets awarded with gold, silver, or bronze and the honor of being recognized as the top products chosen and used by developers worldwide.

LEAD Gives Back: Summer 2023 Internship Program

With our roots in Charlotte since the early 90s, LEAD has made it a constant goal to give back to the local community as well as student developers. As part of this, we want to share a few ways that we give back to our local student community in our new “LEAD Gives Back” blog series. In this post, we will go over the Summer Internship program that we offer to local high school and college students across the Charlotte and surrounding areas.

Throughout LEAD’s 30+ year history, we have taken in numerous interns, typically during the summer and winter school breaks. This has been rewarding for both the students and our employees, as we work closely with the many bright minds that will pave the way forward for the next generation. There was so much interest in interning at LEAD this past summer that we decided to create a full Summer Internship Program.

LEAD Gives Back: Helping to Grow Future Developers with Free Educational Licenses

Since our beginning in the early 90s, LEAD has made it a constant goal to give back to the education community and student developers. As part of this, we want to share a few ways that we give back to students, schools, and universities as part of our new “LEAD Gives Back” blog series. In this post we’re going to discuss LEADTOOLS Educational Licenses.

What are LEADTOOLS Educational Licenses?

Working closely with college and university professors over the years, we have come up with a solution to offer FREE educational licenses for professors to help teach students how to successfully integrate an SDK and build various applications. The power of LEADTOOLS and the depth of our offering helps expand their knowledge base as well as their imagination about what’s possible with code in their future endeavors.
