Simulates painting an image with the watercolor dry brush technique. This command is available in the Raster Pro and above toolkits.

Run the DryCommand on an image with a neighborhood Dimensions = 5x5 pixels.

Remarks

  • This command simulates what would happen if the image had just been painted with paints and the paints were allowed to dry. The colors become darker, with less brightness.
  • The effect can be controlled by specifying the size of the neighborhood that is used for calculating each pixel value.
  • If the image has a region, the effect will be applied on the region only.
  • This command supports 12- and 16-bit grayscale and 48- and 64-bit color images. Support for 12- and 16-bit grayscale and 48- and 64-bit color images is available only in the Document/Medical toolkits.
  • This command does not support signed data images.
  • This command does not support 32-bit grayscale images.
