C++/CLI
public ref class PointillistCommand : public RasterCommand, IRasterCommand

Example

Run the PointillistCommand on an image.

Visual Basic Copy Code
Public Sub PointillistCommandExample()
   RasterCodecs.Startup()
   Dim codecs As New RasterCodecs()
   codecs.ThrowExceptionsOnInvalidImages = True

   Dim leadImage As RasterImage = codecs.Load(LeadtoolsExamples.Common.ImagesPath.Path + "Master.jpg")

   ' Prepare the command
   Dim command As New PointillistCommand
   command.Size = 25
   command.FillColor = New RasterColor(255, 255, 255)
   command.Flags = PointillistCommandFlags.BackGroundColor Or PointillistCommandFlags.Point
   command.Run(leadImage)
   codecs.Save(leadImage, LeadtoolsExamples.Common.ImagesPath.Path + "Result.jpg", RasterImageFormat.Jpeg, 24)

   RasterCodecs.Shutdown()
End Sub
C# Copy Code
public void PointillistCommandExample()

   // Load an image
   RasterCodecs.Startup();
   RasterCodecs codecs = new RasterCodecs();
   codecs.ThrowExceptionsOnInvalidImages = true;

   RasterImage image = codecs.Load(LeadtoolsExamples.Common.ImagesPath.Path + "Master.jpg");

   // Prepare the command
   PointillistCommand command  = new PointillistCommand();
   command.Size = 25;
   command.FillColor = new RasterColor(255,255,255);
   command.Flags = PointillistCommandFlags.BackGroundColor | PointillistCommandFlags.Point;
   command.Run(image);
   codecs.Save(image, LeadtoolsExamples.Common.ImagesPath.Path + "Result.jpg", RasterImageFormat.Jpeg, 24);

   RasterCodecs.Shutdown();
}

Remarks

  • Pointillism is a painting technique where the image is composed of tiny, separate dots of primary color. Non-primary colors are created by placing primary colors beside each other and allowing the "mixing" to be performed when the image is viewed.
  • This method supports 12- and 16-bit grayscale and 48- and 64-bit color images. Support for 12- and 16-bit grayscale and 48- and 64-bit color images is available only in the Document/Medical toolkits.
  • If the image has a region, this method works only on the region. If the image does not have a region, this method works on the entire image.
  • This method does not support signed data images.
  • This command does not support 32-bit grayscale images.
