Sets a value that indicates whether the subtype is currently selected.

Parameter Description
pCaptureSubType Pointer to an IltmfCaptureSubType interface.
newVal VARIANT_BOOL value that specifies whether the subtype is selected.  Possible values are:
  Value Meaning
  VARIANT_TRUE This subtype is currently selected.
  VARIANT_FALSE This subtype is not currently selected.

Returns

S_OK

The function was successful.

An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the MediaFoundation documentation.

Comments

If the subtype is currently selected, changing its selection state will have no effect. One format must be selected at any time.
