C++ Syntax	HRESULT get_ProtocolSubStatus(pVal)

IltmsLogInformation pLogInformation;	pointer to an interface
LONG pVal;	pointer to a long

Retrieves the protocol-specific substatus error code.

Parameter	Description
pLogInformation	Pointer to an IltmsLogInformation interface.
pVal	Pointer to a long variable that receives the protocol-specific substatus error code. A value of zero indicates that no additional error information is available.

S_OK	The function was successful.
<> S_OK	An error occurred. Refer to the Error Codes or the HRESULT error codes in the DirectShow documentation.

Comments

Currently all protocols return zero for substatus. This may change in future releases of the toolkit.
