fixedPointer Property

Summary

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the pointer of this AnnTextPointerObject object is fixed.

Syntax
TypeScript
JavaScript
Object.defineProperty(AnnTextPointerObject.prototype, 'fixedPointer',
	get: function(),
	set: function(value)
)
fixedPointer: boolean;

Property Value

true if the pointer of this AnnTextPointerObject object is fixed; otherwise, it is false

Remarks

The position of the pointer is given in the PointerPosition property. The FixedPointer property determines what happens to the pointer when this AnnTextPointerObject object is transformed.

For example, if the FixedPointer property is false, and this AnnTextPointerObject object gets translated by 10 pixels in both the X and Y directions, the PointerPosition value will be translated by 10 pixels in each direction as well.

However, if the FixedPointer property is true, any transformation on the object itself will not affect the PointerPosition value.
