Frees the memory for a value.

Parameter	Description
pElement	Pointer to a DICOMELEMENT structure within the Data Set.

Returns

None.

Comments

Calling this function following a call to one of the LDicomDS::GetxxxValue functions or the LDicomDS::GetCountValue function will free the memory allocated for the retrieved value. This memory will be freed anyway when the Data Set is freed. Using this function allows you to minimize the memory use in your application.
