Remove(string,string) Method

Summary

Removes an entry from the cache.

Parameters

key

Unique identifier of the cache item.

regionName

Optional name of a region in cache.

Return Value

The value of the item removed from the cache if found, otherwise; null.

Remarks

Cache users may call Remove on items that do not exist in the cache. The impelementation must not throw an error in this case continue as if the item was removed and returning null.
