OnItemDragDrop Method

Summary

Raises the ItemDragDrop event.

Syntax

C#
VB
C++
protected virtual void OnItemDragDrop(
   ImageViewerItemDragDropEventArgs e
)
Protected Overridable Sub OnItemDragDrop(
   ByVal e As ImageViewerItemDragDropEventArgs
)
protected:
   virtual void OnItemDragDrop(
      ImageViewerItemDragDropEventArgs^ e
   )

Parameters

e

The event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. The OnItemDragDrop method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Note to Inheritors: When overriding OnItemDragDrop in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnItemDragDrop method so that registered delegates receive the event.

Example

For an example on using the image viewer as the target for a drag/drop operation, refer to ItemDragDrop.

For an example on using the image viewer as the source of a drag/drop operation, refer to ImageViewerDragInteractiveMode.
