MinimumQueryStudies Method

Summary

Find studies information with the specified matching parameters. Unlike QueryStudies, this function returns less tables, see below.

Parameters

matchingEntitiesCollection

A MatchingParameterCollection which includes the matching parameters for the query.

Return Value

The System.Data.DataSet which contains the studies information that matches the query parameters.

Remarks

The matchingEntitiesCollection can be from any level and they are not limited to the study level.

Which means you can query for studies using the Series Instance UID in the series level or SOP Instance UID in the instance level.

This method will include all the information for the patient and study level.

The following tables in the CompositeInstanceDataSet will contain the studies information: Study, ProcedureCodeSequence, NameOfPhysicianReadingStudy and ReferencedStudySequence.

This function excludes some tables from the query results, which will make the query execute much faster. Use this query when you don't care about the missing tables and you only need the returned ones from this function for better performance.
