MinimumQueryPatients Method

Summary

Find patient's information with the specified matching parameters. Unlike QueryPatients, this function returns less tables, see below.

Parameters

matchingEntitiesCollection

A MatchingParameterCollection which includes the matching parameters for the query.

Return Value

The System.Data.DataSet which contains the patient's information that matches the query parameters.

Remarks

The matchingEntitiesCollection can be from any level and they are not limited to the patient level.

Which means you can query for patients using the Study Instance UID in the study level or modalities in the series level.

The following tables in the CompositeInstanceDataSet will contain the patient's information: Patient, OtherPatientIDs, OtherPatientNames and ReferencedPatientSequence.

This function excludes some tables from the query results, which will make the query execute much faster. Use this query when you don't care about the missing tables and you only need the returned ones from this function for better performance.
