| 1 | Unknown | Unknown device type. |
| 2 | Camera | Simple camera that can record or pause-record, but lacks full VCR capabilities. |
| 3 | DVHS | Device supports D-VHS format. |
| 4 | VCR | Device has full VCR capabilities. |
