AudioCompressor Property

Summary

Gets or sets the audio compressor name.

Syntax

C#
VB
C++
public string AudioCompressor { get; set; }
Public Property AudioCompressor As String
public:
property String^ AudioCompressor {
   String^ get();
   void set (    String^ );
}

Property Value

A string value representing the audio compressor name.

Remarks

An audio compressor is a module or algorithm used to compress audio data. Audio compressors are also known as audio encoders. When the format is selected for the audio stream or the portion of the file holding the audio data will be connected to this compressor before any multiplexer. If this value is undefined (empty string), then the audio stream will be directly connected to a multiplexer. A multiplexer is a module that combines audio and video into one file. Attempting to set this value on a ReadOnly item will result in an error. For more information, refer to the Error Codes.
