L_LTNTF_API L_INT L_NITFGetStatus(hNitf)

Retrieves the status for the hNitf handle.

Parameters

Handle to an existing NITF file, created by calling the L_NITFCreate function.

Value	Meaning
0	The NITF handle is invalid.
NITF_FILE_EMPTY	[0x0001] The NITF handle does not contain any segments.
NITF_FILE_VALID	[0x0002] The NITF handle contains a valid NITF header.
