isParseError Property

Summary

indicates if the ServiceError error object is representing a failure in parsing the response from the service.

Syntax

JavaScript Syntax
Object.defineProperty(ServiceError.prototype, 'isParseError',
	get: function()
)
TypeScript Syntax
isParseError: boolean; // read-only

Property Value

true if either ParseError or a service call could not accurately parse the response from the service.

Remarks

The value of IsParseError is actually a shortcut for confirming that jqxhr is null but errorThrown is not. If this is true, the value of StatusText will be "parsererror".

See ServiceError or Promises in the Documents Library Service for more information.
