AnnPointObject Object

Summary

Defines an annotation point object.

Syntax

JavaScript Syntax
function lt.Annotations.Core.AnnPointObject
	extends lt.Annotations.Core.AnnObject
	implements IAnnObjectCloneable
TypeScript Syntax
class lt.Annotations.Core.AnnPointObject()
	extends lt.Annotations.Core.AnnObject
	implements IAnnObjectCloneable

Remarks

The point object is a single point. This object works in two ways: If the value of ShowPicture is true; this object draws the picture in Picture with CenterPoint as the center point. AnnObject.Fill, AnnObject.Stroke and Radius will be ignored. If ShowPicture is false; this object will draw an ellipse using Stroke and Radius around CenterPoint.

With the automated functions, in design mode, each point is formed with a click or tap event.

Programmatically, the boundaries and location of the point object can be controlled using the following properties: Each object can be transformed with the following methods: The AnnPointObject class inherits a number of properties from the AnnObject class, providing support for font, stroke and fill characteristics. These properties are listed below: The name of the point object can be controlled using Labels property, inherited from the AnnObject class. An object can be part of a group annotation object or part of a container object. It cannot be part of both a group and a container at the same time. The following properties can also be used to programmatically set characteristics of an AnnPointObject:

Example

This example creates a point object and adds it to the automation container.

JavaScript Example
example: function SiteLibrary_DefaultPage$example() {
   // assumes _automation is valid
   var inch = 720.0;
   // Add a point object
   var pointObj = new lt.Annotations.Core.AnnPointObject();
   // Set the point for the pointer
   pointObj.set_centerPoint(lt.LeadPointD.create(1 * inch, 1 * inch));
   // Set the radius
   pointObj.set_radius(lt.LeadLengthD.create(75));
   // Hide the picture
   pointObj.set_showPicture(false);
   // Add the object to the automation container
   this._automation.get_container().get_children().add(pointObj);
   // Select the object
   this._automation.selectObject(pointObj);
},
