Set(string,object,CacheItemPolicy,string) Method

Summary

Adds a key/value pair item into the cache.

Syntax

Parameters

key

Unique identifier of the cache item.

value

Data for the cache item.

policy

Expiration policy for the item.

regionName

Optional name of a region in cache.

Remarks

If the item is already in the cache, then it will be replaced with the new item and its policy updated.
