Sets the maximum number of images that can be transferred from the current TWAIN source.

Parameter

Description

hSession

Handle to an existing TWAIN session. This handle is obtained by calling the L_TwainInitSession or L_TwainInitSession2 function.

nMaxXferCount

Specifies the maximum number of images to be transferred from the current TWAIN source.

Returns

SUCCESS

The function was successful.

Comments

This function internally sets the maximum transfer count capability CAP_XFERCOUNT. For more information on these capabilities, refer to www.twain.org/download.htm and click on TWAIN Specification (Version 1.9).

To get the current value for the CAP_XFERCOUNT capability, call the L_TwainGetMaxXferCount function.

This function should be called after calling the L_TwainStartCapsNeg function and before calling the L_TwainEndCapsNeg function.
