Occurs when the user enters text edit mode in this AnnTextEditDesigner.

Remarks

When the user enters the text edit mode in this AnnTextEditDesigner, usually, by double clicking or tapping on the object, the EditText event will occur. If the user does not cancel the operation as described below, then this designed will create a temporary edit control on the page to allow the user to enter and edit the text.

The event handler receives an argument of type AnnEditTextEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following AnnEditTextEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event:

Property Description
Cancel Gets or sets a value indicating whether to cancel the default operation. When this property is set to true, the designer will not create the temporary edit control on the page and it is assumed that a different mechanism has been implemented by the application.
Bounds Gets the current bounding rectangle of the text object.
TextObject Gets or sets the AnnTextObject being edited.
