UidMacro Method

Summary

Macro that returns a DICOM UID.

Parameters

element
The macro element that holds information about the dataset.

name
The name of the macro.

parameters
The parameters that were passed to the macro.

Return Value

A new DICOM UID.

Remarks

The following parameter is valid:

  • uid root [optional] - The root uid value to used when creating the new UID. If root is not passed a default value of 1.2.840.114257.1.1 will be used.
