Summary

Creates a new layer from the currently selected objects.

Parameters

layerName
Optional layer name. Can be null.

Return Value

The newly created layer.

Remarks

This method will create a new AnnLayer and add all the selected objects to it. The layer is not added to the container since it is up to the caller to determine where to add this layer in the z-order. Either use the AddLayer helper method or use the AnnContainer.Layers collection methods directly.
