I am using version 17 of CDLL.

If the function L_LoadBitmap is called from two or more threads, an access violation sometimes occurs.
Such a problem did not arise when the function was synchronized.

L_loadBitmap function is thread safe, as long as your do not use any of the non-LEAD DLLs that are used by some formats.
Make sure that you only use file format filters that you need and do not include any others. For example, if your application needs PNG files, only include LFPng and remove any LF*.DLL files you don't need.

Please try the following multi-threading demo and see if the problem is active that shipped with LEADTOOLS setup you can find it under the following path:
[LEADTOOLS 17]\Examples\CDLL\Thread
The DLLs version you are using are old, to obtain the latest build of LEADTOOLS v17.0 DLL send and email to support@leadtools.com include your serial number and a link to this form post (Do not post it here).
