i have a query related to PowerPoint presentation.
I am using Lead Tool v 16.5 in my application. It can not open the presentation, created in MS-2010. It works fine in 2003 and 2007.
Looking forward for your feed back.
Thanks.

If this is a PPTX file, it looks like support wasn't added for that format until Lead Tools v17. Could you send a copy of the Power Point file you're having trouble with?

Its not an issue, as pptx is opened when 2007 is installed on the system.
it is like if MS-2007 install on the system, it supports all type of files (ppt, pptx). But MS-2010 does not open any kind of presentation

After investigation, i came to know, if MS-2010 is installed, it doesn't get the handle of the slide show window.
Looking forward for your help on this issue.
Thank you.

According to the help files, there was no Power Point file support (ppt or pptx) until Lead Tools v17. I have confirmed this in the help files and using the 16.5 main imaging demo. So if need Power Point support, the only option is to upgrade to v17.
As far as MS Office 2010 PowerPoint support, I installed MS OFfice 2010 Home and Student, created a Power Point document (ppt and pptx) and was able to load and display it in the Lead Tools v17.5 Main Imaging demo, so I can confirm that the latest version of Lead Tools is able to read Power Point 2010 documents and load them with Power Point installed on the computer. One thing to note, the Lead Toolkit does not require any version of Microsoft Office be installed in order to open Power Point documents.
