MedicalViewerImageData.EchoNumber

The EchoNumber is explained as  "A value that represents the image echo number"  in the documentation. But what does this property mean?

The Echo Number is a number given to identify different passes for multiple DICOM Dataset series. The echo number is used to classify the series and group it based on the echo number.
For example, if two sets of series were made for the same person (same body part) under different conditions, each series will have a different echo number to identify it.
