How do I make a searchable PDF using the PDF r/w plugin for the raster toolkit?  The source files are postscript files.  I am able to make PDFs using the FILE_RAS_PDF format, but they are not searchable.  However if I use distiller to create the PDF, it is fully searchable.  Is this possible with leadtools?

The PDF plugin saves and loads the PDF only as Raster Image not as TEXT, so it is not searchable.

To save a searchable PDF file take a look at the LEADTOOLS PDF OCR add-on:

In newer versions of the toolkit, such as LEADTOOLS 19, new classes were added to manipulate text-based PDF without having to convert to raster images and OCR.
