What is the exact name of the demo that you are using and the exact steps that you perform to do scanning?
If you open our Main demo, can you see the Twain device in the "Select Source" dialog in the "File" menu?

Hello,

In Your scanning Demo has two options,

01)Twain

02)Wia

What is the difference between Two.

I select the Twain Multipage  . But The Select source is not enabled.

any device is connected.

Thanks

The following links provide details regarding Twain and WIA. Please check these links:
http://www.leadtools.com/SDK/Raster/Raster-Scanning.htm
http://www.leadtools.com/SDK/Raster/Raster-Scanning-Twain.htm
http://www.leadtools.com/sdk/raster/wia.htm

If the Twain Select Source is not enabled, this means that you do not have a Twain driver device (scanner, camera with Twain driver, etc.). To check if this is the issue, please try the standard Twain test utility from the Twain Working Group. This program is called Twacker and you can get it from here: http://www.twain.org/devfiles/twack.zip.
Just run the Twacker application and try the following:
- Select (check) the menu "File-->Disable after Acquire".
- Uncheck the menu "File-->ShowUI".
- Select the menu "File-->Select Source", and then select your scanner driver from the list.
- Select the menu "File -->Acquire".

Can you select the Twain device and perform a successful scan?

Twacker is the standard Twain test utility from the Twain Working Group. If it is not able to see your scanner, this means that the scanner is not supported by the Twain source (driver).

If your scanning device does not have a Twain driver, does it has a WIA driver? You can check this by running our pre-built Main demo and check if the "WIA Acquire" option in the "File" menu is enabled.
