WIA is Faster than TWAIN!!
with the same resolutions and options, my brother MFC 215 C scanner
WIA
scans 300 dpi A4 sheet , gray scale, in a row
TWAIN
scans in 10 or 11 steps at 300 dpi, gray scale, A4 sheet

Since this wasn't really related to the other post, I have split it into a separate thread.
Which LEADTOOLS version and interface (CDLL, COM, etc.) are you using?
Are you using our Twain libraries or WIA libraries (v16 has libraries specifically for WIA).
Does the same speed issue exist when using Twacker? To download Twacker, you can get it from
http://www.twain.org/downloads.shtm within the Twain Developer Toolkit download. In general, if a scanner works with Twacker, it should work with LEADTOOLS. If the scanner has the same problem in Twacker, then the problem lies in the Twain driver and you should contact the manufacturer.
